QRDecoder.app

Your Computer Should Be Able to Do This!

What is this and why I made it

Sometimes, I get an email or a PDF with a QR code, but the sender didn't include the actual URL. The easiest way to check it? Grab my phone and scan it... which is silly because I'm on a freaking computer, and it should be able to do this!

Google search tells me I can use image search or Google Lens or some other workaround, but the sites I found were either clunky or filled with ads.

So, I built QRDecoder.app -- a simple, no-BS way to decode QR codes right from your browser.

Just take a screenshot of the code and paste it in, and boom -- there's your link. No extra steps, just what you need.

Hope it makes someone else's life easier too!
